New Year's Eve 2007
We celebrate "our Christmas" on New Year's Eve with presents and a good meal cooked together. This year the main course was duck in adobo with jicama relish (Rick Bayless), sweet potato oven fries and brussels sprouts with proscuitto and pecans. The sprouts were from our garden. The wine was a Ridge Zin--York Creek maybe?
Craig's Birthday 2004
Teriyaki grilled pork chop with pineapple-papaya relish, Tamari almond green beans, spinach salad with raspberries and chevre. My first birthday dinner for Craig, and one of the first meals I ever photographed. This was before I knew Craig doesn't like soft cheese in salads.

Craig caught the squid and Craig and Hollie cooked them in May 2007.
